The Clubhouse Hit Club

New this fall and winter, we’re excited to introduce The Clubhouse Hit Club, an opportunity for CT Shell Shockers to reserve personal cage time for any baseball/softball activity (hitting, throwing, pitching, or catching, etc.).

To keep The Clubhouse exclusive to our CT Shell Shockers families, Hit Club will only be available to families within our program.

To ensure a great experience and reasonable access to cage time for everyone, we will initially cap participation at 20 families.

Once we get started and better understand how families are utilizing the available time slots, we can reevaluate that number. If we consistently see additional cage availability, we may be able to open Hit Club to more Shell Shockers families.

If we see a rush of more popular time slots, please consider sharing cage time with another family. Our goal is to create an environment where our players can work together, get their reps, and make the most of the facility.

This is our first year offering Hit Club, so we also ask for a little patience as we work through the inevitable kinks and learn what works best. We do not want a small number of families reserving the majority of the available cage time. Please be respectful of your teammates and mindful of how often you are reserving the facility so that every player has an opportunity to get the development time they need.

Ultimately, the strength of our program will always be determined by the development of the entire group, not just one or two exceptional players. The better we are collectively, the better we are as an organization.

Beginning in October and running through December, designated cage times at The Clubhouse will be available to reserve 7 days a week.  Once you register, you will get a separate email with directions on how to reserve time. *Designated cage times are always subject to change based on reservation demands

Additional Hit Club times will be offered after the New Year; however, those time slots will not be posted until our CT Shell Shockers spring teams are finalized and their winter training schedules are established. Spring evaluations are generally held toward the end of October.

Sharing Cage Time

During peak slots, we encourage families to consider sharing cage time with teammates or friends whenever possible. If multiple families plan to share a cage, please have only one family complete the reservation form for that time slot.
